Profile of Roger P. Thomas

A Welsh born artist, college trained, with Diploma membership of the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers, City and Guilds of London in illustration, and membership of the SAA.

He has completed over 1000 illustrations for National, International and local newspapers, had over half a million words in print, over twelve poems published, and illustrated over ten books.

His Devon based studio portrait work has resulted in three solo exhibitions, the last two were in London, he is booked in for a twelve week solo exhibition in 2014 in Torquay, and has worked with classical singers Placido Domingo, Katherine Jenkins, Russell Watson, Hayley Westenra and Aled Jones.

He created the official 2008 Children in Need portrait of Sir Terry Wogan, and has also worked with Phillip Schofield and Emma Bunton.
His charity organisational portraits include Douglas Bader, Ernie Wise and Dylan Thomas.
In his Hollywood series, he has worked with Tippi Hedren, Dale Robertson and Noel Harrison.
